What are the benefits of Invisalign?

Invisalign offers many benefits to patients who are looking to straighten their teeth quickly and discreetly. Patients tend to love Invisalign aligners because they are:

  • Clear and virtually invisible on the teeth
  • Comfortable to wear for hours at a time
  • Completely removable; no food restrictions
  • Very efficient and effective at teeth straightening

What is the Invisalign process?

When you are ready to begin your Invisalign journey, we will take digital impressions of your current smile to create your treatment plan and your first set of aligners. Once your aligners arrive from the lab, we will have you try them on. After we ensure that they fit well, it will be up to you to wear your aligners as often as possible, or any time you are not eating or brushing your teeth. Occasional appointments will be scheduled so that we can assess the progress of your teeth and provide you with the next set of custom aligners.

Am I a candidate for Invisalign?

Most patients who want to straighten their smiles using Invisalign are able to do so. During your consultation, we will examine the current alignment of your teeth and bite and review your budget, lifestyle, and orthodontic preferences and needs to help you determine if Invisalign is right for you. While Invisalign used to be reserved for patients who had mild orthodontic needs, clear aligner technology has become much more advanced, and it can now be used to treat a much wider range of orthodontic issues.
